Whew! Goodbye, January – and with it, the winter blues! Hopefully. My reading mojo is returning at last, so let’s take a look at what I got through in the last couple of months.
A certain element of the longer-arc plot starts bearing (terrifying) fruit this week, while the tension – and the stakes – are beginning to feel like they’ve never been higher… I’m scared. Spoilers follow for chapters 28 to 41.
In this week’s chapters, Holden finds himself back in the fight – but what does that mean for Captain Draper? Elsewhere, Governor Singh is finding out just how messy a hostile takeover can become when – surprise! – some people (Belter people, no less) aren’t happy about it; and Drummer receives some not entirely welcome […]
In the first part of Persepolis Rising, the series makes another of its dramatic key changes, while taking us further forward than ever before. I WAS NOT PREPARED TO FEEL THESE FEELINGS. Spoilers follow.
The Battle of Medina Station, and the final face-off between Marco Inaros and the Rocinante crew, do not go as expected. For anybody. But does this mean Happily Ever After, or…? Spoilers follow!

But no plan survives contact with the enemy, and even before the fight really starts, those plans are changing… Who’ll be left standing? Will anyone be left standing? Spoilers […]
In the second part of Babylon’s Ashes, loyalties – and perspectives? – are starting to shift. But what will this mean for our key players? Oh yeah, and there’s the space dogfight to (nearly) end all dogfights. Holy crap. Spoilers follow!
In the sixth book of The Expanse, the scope of character perspective is broader than it’s ever been as Marco Inaros sets his sights even higher than before… It’s time to talk about Babylon’s Ashes (with spoilers)!
Bit of an oops today, because I realised I completely forgot to do a recap post last month. But with this month’s completed reading having been a bit … minimal, I suppose that means I’ve got more to add in catch-up mode! Let’s take a look back…
In the fourth and final part of Nemesis Games, I am right on the edge of my seat as the big questions loom: Will the Rocinante crew be reunited? Will Marco get away with what he’s done? And what’s going to happen with the protomolecule?! SO MUCH DRAMA. This week’s questions are coming from Sarah […]
